## Abstract Previously undocumented deposits are described that store suspended sediment in gravel‐bedded rivers, termed β€˜fine‐grained channel margin’ (FGCM) deposits. FGCM deposits consist of sand, silt, clay, and organic matter that accumulate behind large woody debris (LWD) along the margins of
