โœฆ Synopsis


The unpaired electron spin density distributions in the r-systems of the radical cations of bacteriochlorophyll a, chlorophyll a and the oxidized primary electron donors P&55 and P700 of bacterial and plant photosynthesis are estimated from an analysis of the hyperfine interactions between the protons and nitrogens. The analysis supports a dimeric structure for P865 and P700.
