IN the previous paper 11 the isolation of anti-fungal glycosides, *2 eupteleoside A and eupteleoside B , from the leaves of Euptelea polyandra SIEB. et ZUCC., and some chemical properties of the aglycone Eupteleogenone (III) is positive in the Zimmerman" test, and on sodium borohydride reduction gives eupteleogenin (I).
