✦ Synopsis

This paper presents the design and installation quality control of the 1800 ton weight steel structure hoisting process of Beijing West Railway Station Project. The peripheral total volume of the main steel structure is 25 287 m. By employing a synchronous hydraulic jack, the lifting distance reaches 43.42, 20% of cost discount compared with upper air bulk installation; 45 m long steel frame structure is designed with prestress technology; the steel expenditure is cut at the rate of 20%. The total cost of production is US$2 800 000.
