The strictly mixed problem [1] of the bending of a thin elastic plate in the shape of a segment of a circle under a uniform load is considered. Exact told approximate solutions of the problem together with an estimate of the root mean-square error are obtained. The behavioar of the bending moment at the comers and points where the boundary change is investigated.
