โฆ Synopsis
We present a novel method for three-dimensional imaging of contrast agents in different specimens using neutrons. The contrast agent is an element with a high neutron capture cross section-e.g. B 10 . This element emits a g-ray-478 keV in the case of B 10 -upon capturing a neutron. The g-rays are then imaged with suitable tomographic imaging methods. We present a method of using a shadow mask technique for imaging which needs only one exposure and can yield depth information in addition to the two-dimensional projection.
