โฆ Synopsis
Enthalpies of solution of the uranates of strontium have been measured calorimetrically in 5.075 mol โข dm -3 HCl(aq), or in (1.00 mol โข dm -3 HCl + 0.0470 molโข dm -3 FeCl 3 )(aq). The results have been combined with auxiliary values to derive the standard molar enthalpies at T = 298.15 K. With the results obtained and recalculated values from the literature, the following values for f H o m /kJ โข mol -1 have been obtained: Sr 3 U 11 O 36 , -(15900 ยฑ 17); Sr 2 U 3 O 11 , -(5236.4 ยฑ 4.8); ฮฒ-SrUO 4 , -(1985.1 ยฑ 1.4); Sr 5 U 3 O 14 , -(7265.8 ยฑ 7.5); Sr 2 UO 5 , -(2626.9 ยฑ 2.0); Sr 3 UO 6 , -(3252.4 ยฑ 2.1); Sr 2 UO 4.5 , -(2488.0 ยฑ 2.5).
