The lag times and steady-state flux predicted by a specific case of the compartment model, which was recently proposed to generate finite-dose percutaneous permeation pharmacokinetics, are compared with those predicted by the diffusion model. When the intercompartmental transfer rate constants are d

β¦ Synopsis
This paper is concerned with the existence and stability of nonnegative steadystate solutions for a model of forest with diffusion and spatial average. By the theory of analytic semigroup and detailed spectral analysis, the exponential stability and instability of these steady states are proved. Furthermore, the results about the global stability of zero solution is also obtained.

## Abstract This paper deals with the problem of the analysis of boost and buck converters at the steady state with the use of the method of average models. The usefulness of this method is examined by comparing the boost and buck converters characteristics at the steadyβstate obtained both with th
We show that weak L p dissipativity implies strong L dissipativity and therefore implies the existence of global attractors for a general class of reaction diffusion systems. This generalizes the results of Alikakos and Rothe. The results on positive steady states (especially for systems of three eq
