This paper has two purposes. One is to establish new stability criteria for linear systems with multiple time-varying/constant delays, and the other is to point out the limitations of the author's previous results. The stability criteria, including delaydependent and delay-independent ones, are deri

β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
With communication signal delays, a power system control can actually excite sustained oscillations. This paper proposes a method to analyze the stability of such delayed systems and the like. The stability is estimated using delay margins. The main result is nicely based on a sufficient and necessary condition. Simulation results of the Automatic Generation Control (AGC) system of the realβworld East China Power Grid (ECPG) system are reported to validate the methodology. We examine the problem of dynamic stabilization of systems with input delays, and show a construction of the compensator which is deduced from a state space representation of the control system itself.
## Abstract This paper deals with the class of continuousβtime singular linear systems with timeβdelay in the state vector. The stabilization problem of this class of systems using a state feedback controller is tackled. New delayβdependent sufficient conditions on βοΈ~β~ stabilization are developed
In this paper, practical stability properties of linear multivariable feedback systems with time-delays are studied. The control schemes considered are conventional feedback control and Smith Predictor control. Depending upon the known perturbation structures, tight conditions are given which guaran
Two new asymptotic stability criteria for linear time-invariant systems with multiple delays are established by using a quadratic inequality lemma together with frequency-domain techniques. One criterion is for delay-dependent β£-stability and another is for delay-independent asymptotic stability. Ea
