✦ Synopsis
The solubility of ethylene, propylene and butene-1 in liquid nitrogen in the temperature range 68.7-103 K was determined by the I R-spectroscopy method. The experimental results were compared with the estimation of the solubility by the Preston-Prausnitz method. The influence of cryogenic solvents on the change of the solubility was discussed.
