β¦ Synopsis
This is the novelization of the box office hit "The Sixth Sense" about a terrified boy with a huge secret and a tormented child psychologist who needs a shot at redemption. Both are trapped in a world where nothing is what it seems. Young Cole has a problem: he sees the ghosts of dead people wherever he goes. Haunted in every sense of the word, he can't bear to share the weight of his secret with his devoted mother, and so he puts up a wall to shut her out. It's his psychiatrist, Dr. Crowe, in whom Cole finally confides, and who has the strength to help the boy deal with the terror only he can see.
