✦ Synopsis


The X-ray investigations of solid phases in the multicomponent systems KCl-KBr-H20, K,S04-(NH4),S04-H,0 and KN03-NH,N03-H,0 were conducted and the crystal lattice parameters of mixed crystals forming in these systems were determined. It was confirmed that in the KCI-KBr-H,O system the continuous solid solutions were formed and in the K,S0,-(NH,)2S04-H,O system the solid solutions with a miscibility gap were formed. In the KN0,-NH,NO,-H,O system the presence of two series of mixed crystals, namely the mixed crystals between ammonium nitrate and the double salt KNO, . 2 NH,NO, and between potassium nitrate and the same double salt was confirmed. In this system a wide region of discontinuity (for xNH4N03 = 0.083 -0.67) also occurred.

According to Roozeboom's classification, the KC1-KBr-H,O system belongs to the 3'd type, the K,S0,-(NH,),S0,-H20

to the 51h type (the discontinuous mixed crystals, the systems of peritonic type) and the KN03-NH4N03 -H,O system is not comprised in this classification.

Untersuchungen der festen Phasen in den Mehrstoffsystemen KC1-KBr-H,O, K,S0,-(NH,),S04-H,0 und KN0,-NH,NO,-H20 durchgefuhrt und die Gitterparameter fur Mischkristalle, die sich in diesen Systemen bilden, gemessen. Es wurde hestatigt, daB sich im System KCl-KBr-H,O eine ununterbrochene Mischkristallreihe und im System K,SO,-(NH,),SO,-H,O feste Losungen mit einer Liicke in der Mischbarkeit bilden. Im System KNO3-NH4NO3-H,O wurde die Existenz von zwei Mischkristallreihen festgestellt, und zwar von Mischkristallreihen zwischen Ammoniumnitrat und dem Doppelsalz K N 0 3 . 2 NH,NO, sowie zwischen dem Kaliumnitrat und demselben Doppelsalz. In diesem System tritt auch ein g r o k r Diskontinuitatsbereich (fur x~~~~~~ = 0.083 -0.67) auf. Wenn man die untersuchten Systeme nach Roozeboom klassifiziert, gehort das System KCI-KBr-H,O zum dritten Typ, das System K,SO,-(NH,),SO,-H,O zum funften Typ (unterbrochene Mischkristalle, das System vom peritonischen Typ); das System KNO3-NH,NO3-H,O finden wir in dieser Klassifikation nicht.
