A 37 year man with combined subpulmonic and subaortic idiopathic hypertrophic stenosis proved by cardiac catheterization had typical echocardiographic findings of idiopathic hypertropic subaortic stenosis (IHSS) and systolic anterior motion of the anterior leaflet of the tricuspid valve. This motion
