โฆ Synopsis
On the basis of microshape analyses, macroscopic fracture mechanics analyses of defects in steel-cast jet muzzle brakes, and also forecasting of fatigue life and criteria for evaluation of muzzle brake initial defects, are carried out. The results of tracking statistics and tangential observations agree with the results of analyses. The results presented will be of considerable use in the waste criterion and testing of steel-cast muzzle brakes.
