โœฆ Synopsis

A separated cell A of a topological space X is a family of pairwise disjoint open sets with the property that, for any partition A = A 1 โˆช A 2 of A, A 1 and A 2 are completely separated. The separated cellularity sc(X) of X is the supremum of all cardinals of separated cells. A space X has finite separation if it has no infinite separated cells. With X compact, every separated cell of X has size < ฮบ if and only if no regular closed subset has a continuous surjection onto ฮฒฮบ. It is shown that for normal, first-countable spaces finite separation is equivalent to sequential compactness. Compact finite separation spaces are examined, and compared to other classes of compact spaces which occur in the literature. It is shown that all dyadic spaces have finite separation. Likewise, every compact scattered space, every compact countably tight space, and every compact hereditarily paracompact space has finite separation.

The concept of induced I(L)-topological spaces has been introduced by Kubiak (Ph.D. Thesis, UAM, Poznan, 1985) and independently by Wang (Kexue Tongbao 34 (5) (1989) 333). In this paper, the separation properties in the sense of Hutton-Reilly of induced I(L)-topological spaces are investigated. The

In this paper, a set of new separation axioms in L-fuzzy topological spaces are defined and studied. We give several characterizations of these separation axioms and discuss certain relationships among them. Moreover, some of their basic properties are also examined.

One of the most important theorem in analysis is the HABY-BANACH theorem ([SJ, pi). [186][187][188][189][190][191][192][193][194][195][196][197]. The analytic form of this theorem can be written as follows: Let S be a linear space over the field of real numhers R, and let p : X -R be a wldinear (su
