Ah&act-The solutions of the equations of nonlinear age dependent population dynamics may be associated with a strongly continuous semigroup of nonlinear operators in the Banach space L'(0, m; R"). The infinitesimal generator of this nonlinear semigroup is characterized and an exponential representation formula for the nonlinear semigroup is obtained in terms of the infinitesimal generator.

## Communicated by M. Lachowicz The model of age-dependent population dynamics was for the first time described by McKendrick (1926). This model was based on the first-order partial differential equation with the standard initial condition and the non-local boundary condition in integral form. Gur
