Geochemically typed thin layers of Icelandic Holocene tephras form a tephrochronology for the north of Ireland. Tephrochronology construction is based on geochemical linkage with dated historic Icelandic eruptions and high-precision multisample radiocarbon dating. Comparison with geochemically typed
