โœฆ Synopsis

The role and interfacial mass transfer of silver(I) and silver(YI) mediators in the anodic oxidation of toluene were studied. The experimental results and theoretical analysis indicate that the rate of oxidation of toluene is independent of the concentration of toluene, but is significantly affected by the solid-liquid interfacial mass transfer and the initial concentration of the mediator, the ratio of the surface area of the electrode to the volume of solution and the rate of generation of the active mediator. The interfacial mass transfer coefficient was also obtained. A.-C. Lee, T.-C. Chou / Ag(I)/Ag(lI) mediators in the anodic oxid~ion of toluene CHa + Ag '+ ks CHa d ~1ยฐ---I-. k ' 3

## Abstract Although the concept of cognitive age has been positioned in the psychology, marketing, and gerontology literatures as an important variable that mediates the relationship between specific antecedents and consequences, a test of its implied mediational role has not been done. As such, r
