β¦ Synopsis
While Cori is locked away in the prison, Danato and Belus negotiate with Clark for her release. As her lies and deceptions are further revealed, everyone is put at odds, accusing each other of the fault in her actions. The werewolf trial must continue regardless of the circumstances. Daniel, Heaton, and Nevia are put in charge of monitoring it. The reason for Neviaβs education on werewolves comes to light, but her enthusiasm for the outcome of the trial is making Daniel and Heaton uncomfortable. When the lights go out and Cori turns up missing, the evidence points to Efrat. While searching for her, Daniel and Nevia have a run in with Frederique, head of the werewolf council. Fortunately, Callin is available to offer a fair fight. And when that doesnβt keep her from trying to kill Nevia, Daniel takes the fair out of the fight. Cori finds herself inside Cleosβs mind at a dinner party she was never supposed to be invited to. When she returns to the real world, she still has Efrat, Clark, and eventually Danato to deal with. It wonβt be long, but eventually things will go back to normal.
