It was always going to end up epic.

Just when my mixed pack have simmered down and entered into a tentative alliance, the unthinkable descends.

Over the mountain, clasped in the claws of mesmerised eagles, comes the Serpent Hoard, led by their monstrous, fire breathing king, intent on grabbing The Storyteller and my cremated magic book.

Our pack's only hope of survival rests on a barking mad mage cat with nifty jazz paws.

If it's not dilapidated castles and homicidal mould, it's portals and vortexes.

If I don't figure out the difference, I'll be thrown back to Earth and a showdown with my own imagination, because...

The greatest battle is in the mind.
