β¦ Synopsis
Precise evaluation of the reflected component of daylight in multistoreyed constructions based on the application of the finite difference method are presented here for parallel blocks of buildings up to four-storeys high. The effects of distances between facades and their reflection factors in relation to multiple inter-reflections between facades and inside are considered. The dependence of IRC (inter-reflected component of daylight) on the several parameters like distance of separation, reflection-coefficients of facades and interior finish of rooms are brought out.
