✦ Synopsis
A procedure is described for the solvent extraction of enriched uranium from the waste solution of fission 99Mo production.
An extraction process has been developed for recovering residual uranium from waste solutions of the fission *MO production. The procedure and the apparatus meet the very low uranium concentrations (_ 10 g U/L) by using special air lift extractors which work satisfactorily at low organic/aqueous phase ratios. The design of the plant is briefly described.
