✦ Synopsis
It is shown that the graphical method of solving the coupled equations for an endothermic reaction in a plug-flow, non-isothermal reactor can be extended to clcctrochemical reactions in threedimensional electrodes. The method of solution is described and as a first example, it has been applied to a simple reversible reaction in an axial packed bed electrode. The sensitivity to various parameters has been examined. The method is ideally suited to computer-aided design procedures. NOMENCLATURE

A reaction engineering model and an electrochemical reactor model are developed for the reduction of nitrobenzene to paminophenol in a packed bed electrode reactor. The reactor model is based on a simplification of the two-dimensional Poisson equation for the potential distribution. The predictions
This paper analyses the effect of side reactions, such as the reduction of oxygen or Fe(III), on copper deposition from dilute acid sulfate solutions. Fundamental studies with a rotating disc electrode were performed to determine the potential regions where the reactions take place and also to calcu
