โœฆ Synopsis

Electron spin echo detected EPR spectra have been obtained of the triplet state of a single crystal of the reaction center of Rhodobacter sphaeroides R26. The crystal is found to be monoclinic and to contain four magnetically inequivalent sites. The magnetic relaxation behaviour of this triplet has been investigated and the lifetimes of the triplet sublevels have been determined.
