✦ Synopsis

Ed Dayton had never been to space. He wasn’t a scientist, nor did he know how to build a rocket. He did have money though, and lots of it.

Ed had conquered the skies, with his fleet of airliners for the super rich, but he dreamt of greater things, beyond the clouds and atmosphere. Of space travel, not only for the rich, but for the masses.

When Ed Dayton set out on his mission to commercialise space flight, he thought he was achieving his dream. However, it quickly became a nightmare. His rivals, the Russians, always seemed to be one step ahead, his test flight had been a disaster and his investors were losing interest in his company, Dayton Space.

As he battles with the public, the press and his board members, the last chance to save his dreams from the verge of collapse rests on an 11th-hour secretive competition, promising to offer one lucky member of the public a once in a lifetime prize.

With candidates competing against each other in a gruelling test of their physical and mental strength, all vying for the grand prize, one woman, Samanatha Harrington, wonders if she has taken on more than she bargained for.

With time running out and the Russian’s ahead of them, how much is Ed Dayton willing to risk to get his mission ready for take-off?
