โฆ Synopsis
A method for the determination of haemoglobin in ovine muscle is described. Haemoglobin, together with myoglobin, was extracted into phosphate buffer and, if necessary, the extract concentrated by freeze-drying. The concentrated pigments were separated on columns of Sephadex G75 or G50 and quantitated spectrophotometrically.
