โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
The pure rotational Raman spectrum of selenium trioxide monomer in the vapour phase at 410 K has been obtained and analysed for the first time. The following rotational constants and bond lengths were obtained:
This is the first spectroscopic determination of r~0~ in SeO~3~. The precision of r~0~ is significantly greater than the value of r~a~ = 169ยฑ1 pm obtained from an earlier electron diffraction study.
