Luciano Borgotta, nicknamed Tartaglia, is a man with the difficult fate. He is a young puppet maker from the provincial planet of Borgo. He is a neuropast, a master of the contact impersonation who traveled a half of the galaxy. He is a torturer of the infamous May-Gile Prison; later - a junior executor.
