The photoelectrochemical behavior of the erythrosin-hydroquinone system at a transparent SnO, electrode is shown to depend strongly on the electrode modification arising during dye oxidation. Only in specific experimental conditions, where SnO, remains unmodified, the system behaves as other xanthen
