β¦ Synopsis
The results of studying the properties of cell kinetics indicators by computer simulation methods are reported. Two problems are considered, one concerning investigation into the effieienry and robustness of the procedure earlier proposcd by UH (YAEOVLEV et al., 1977) for estimating the socalled q-index which chararterizes the intrgral flow of cells into a given mitotic cyele phase. The other problem is Rubstantiation of the way to form mathematical expectations of the indices of cell cycle phases. Disrussion of the results of sinrulation experiments is preceded by analyticsl tlolutions of Rome of the simpler casrs of such problenw with the une of the theory of multitype nge-dc.~~endc.nt branching stochastic processes.
