✦ Synopsis
A practical synthesis of [14-3Hldibenz[a, jlacridine and [7-3Hlditfenz [a,hlacridlne is reported from the parent hydrocarbon by catalytic exchange with tritium gas in the presence of palladium on calcium carbonate. Analogous regiospecific labelling with deuterium was also affected. In addition [14-14C1dibenz[a, jlacridine was prepared from [14C lparaformaldehyde.
