The mean As-0 distance is 1.70 8, in the As04 tetrahedron and 1.82 A in the As06 octahedron; the mean As-0-As bond angle at the bridging oxygen atom is 127", and the angle between the octahedral plane and octahedral diagonal is 87 'I. The length of each hydrogen bond (5 per unit cell) is between 2.53 and 2.78 A. Asz05.5/3 H20 is therefore not a triarsenic acid H5As3010.
