Abstract
The preparation of ethyl 6βethylβ4βhydroxy[3β^14^C] cinnolβ3βul carboxylate (ICI 75,186) from diethyl[2β^14^C]malonate in five stages is described, together with the purification procedures involved. The overall radiochemical yield, at a specific activity of 3.3 ΞΌCi/mg, was 10%.
