โœฆ Synopsis

Other studies have shown the relationship between the WISC and standardized tests of achievement. Mussen, Dean, and Rosenberg (1952) found moderate correlations between the WISC and the Metropolitan Tests of Reading and Arithmetic and the Stanford Reading and Arithmetic Tests. Stroud, Elommers, and Lauber (1957) also investigated the relationships between the WISC and scores obtained on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. Correlations of .66, .66, and .67 are reported with Reading, Arithmetic, and Spelling. These data also include correlations between the three achievement tests and the eleven subtests of the WISC.
