✦ Synopsis
The lizard Uromastyx aegyptia is very commoii in Egypt. The average adult measures 27 em, snout to vent, and 19 em, vent to tip of tail. A large number of skeletons have been prepared and a study of them has revealed several interesting osteological features. Those concerning the sltull have been recorded in a previous publication (El-Toubi, '45). The present paper deals with the rest of the skeleton. The description given here is the result of studying in detail about a dozen skeletons.
