✦ Synopsis

We present the results of interstitial therapy with '92iridium for 91 patients with carcinoma of the lip. This technique, without complications or sequelae, assures the control of local disease in 95.5% of cases (87191). The management of metastatic lymph nodes and the indications for neck dissection are discussed.
