✦ Synopsis

Abatmct-'l'lm acetone, acetophenone and benzophenonainitiated photochemical alkylation of cyclic ethers with ok&s is described. Alpha-alkykted cyclic ethers were obtained as the l:l-adducts in yields of up to 40% with terminal okiins, and yields of up to 82% with a&unsaturated esters.
