β¦ Synopsis
The phase relations in the Cu,In,Se system are reviewed with particular attention to compositions in the vicinity of CuInSe:. The pseudobinary Cu2Se-In2Se a is re-evaluated and the liquidus-solidus relationship of the 5 phase is discussed. The growth of CuInSe2 single crystals is described using the methods of gradient freeze, Bridgman, chemical vapor transport, zone leveling and liquid encapsulated Czochralski pulling.
