The partitioning of heterogeneous cell populations of rat bone marrow, in comparison with that of homogeneous populations of erythrocytes, has been studied in aqueous two-phase systems containing increasing concentrations of dextran-poly-(ethylene glycol) (to increase the interfacial tension) and/or
