✦ Synopsis

The temperature dependence of the conduction noise was studied in the normal state of epitaxially grown films of high-T¢ cuprates Bi2Sr2Ca~_lCu,~O i (n=2, 3). We obtained the almost temperature-independent 1/f noise. The magnitude of the noise, which depends on the quality of the samples, still remains 5-6 orders of magnitude larger than in ordinary metals even in the samples with the highest quality. Possible origins are discussed both as an intragrain effect and other extrinsic effect.
