✦ Synopsis
The Frank model for biochemical L-D stereoselection is generalized by allowing (slightly) different values for the rate constants of enantiomeric reactions. Approximate analytical solutions of this model are obtained, valid for arbitrary initial conditions. The behaviour of the model for near-zero and large values oft is determined.
