โœฆ Synopsis

A quadrupolar-ccbo Fourier transform&ion technique ~3s used to ~CZQWZ Tz IS a funcrion of director orientation in model membrane systems from powder spectra with residual quadrupolar splittings. Tbc relaxation function is exponenttil for nil systems nnd orientrrtions, giving rise to Lorcntzian-broadened Pake doublet lines. From the relaxation time profile versus director orientation, Lonclusions ilze drawn about molecular motions along, curved surfaces. An sdvmtagc of this technique is that no macroscopic orienration of mcmbrdnc systems between glass plates is necessary.
