We present preliminary results from the first attempt to reconstruct the spectral function in the nucleon and A channels from lattice QCD data using the maximum entropy method (MEM). An advantage of the MEM analysis is to enable us to access information of the excited state spectrum. Performing simu

β¦ Synopsis
Established results for the quark propagator of Landau gauge QCD, together with a detailed comparison to lattice data, are implemented in a PoincarΓ©-covariant Faddeev approach to the nucleon. The nucleon mass and its electromagnetic form factors, together with charge radii and magnetic moments, are calculated as a function of the current-quark mass. The role of the pion cloud is discussed.
