In earlier editorials (Ashkanasy, 2007a,b), I canvassed the idea that JOB should revisit its long-standing mission statement with a view (1) to bring JOB more into the mainstream of OB research, and (2) to align JOB's mission more accurately with the domain of the Academy of Management's OB Division. Following input from the JOB editorial team in particular, and JOB readers more generally, I am pleased to announce the new JOB Mission:
