✦ Synopsis
A new patented process for desalinating sea water has been developed by Svenska Utvecklings AB (SU), the Swedish National Development Co. This newly developed equipment is based on a new type of low temperature, low pressure desalination design combining thermal and membrane effects. The system is called SU Membrane Distillation System. The system is built up in modules. The modules can be combined in series to meet the need for larger capacities. she standard modules large scale systems Will produce about 5 m per 24-hour period module.
