## Abstract Transbromination of chlorobenzene and of toluene with bromobenzene under the influence of aluminium bromide‐[^82^ Br] is accompanied by some bromine exchange between organic and inorganic bromides. However, since many bromine atoms are __transferred__ for every bromine atom __exchanging
