Author: Willam F. Jenkins, better known under the penname Murray Leinster.
Plot: Hundreds of atom bombs fall upon the USA, destroying most of the cities and some 70 million Americans. The bombs all seem to come from the North Pole, sender unknown. Will the surviving military staff, hidden away in shelters named "burrows", eventually discover who their mysterious aggressor is and retaliate by clouting them into nothingness?
