## Abstract **Summary:** A unified model is developed for the finite sizeβeffect on the glassβtransition temperature of polymers, __T__~g~(__D__), where __D__ denotes the diameter of particles or thickness of films. In terms of this model, __T__~g~ depends on both the size and interface conditions.
The angular dependence of the critical current density (J c Γ°yΓΓ and the vortex glass transition temperature (T g Γ°yΓΓ in La 1:87 Y 0:13 CuO 4 were measured at different fields and temperatures.
