Atomic absorption measurements were used to determine the relative number densities of both zinc atoms and ions in an inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Variations in the absorbance obtained with the zinc atomic and ionic resonance lines reflect the dynamic equilibrium between the number of atoms and

β¦ Synopsis
Momentum densities for the Nz molecule are investigated. Differences between the ground state and low-lying excited states as well as the effects of ionization are discussed. The densities are calculated by taking Fourier tmnsforms of natural spin orbitals of wavefunctions calculated in a minimal basis with configuration interaction.

In this paper, we discuss the validity of our earlier derivation of a theory of molecular electron aftinities and ionization potentials\_ We show how one can improve upon our original derivation, which was not entirely consistent. by iteratively calculating both the ion and neutral molecule wavefun
