โœฆ Synopsis

The modular graphics system

The Computer Aided Design Centre has, over the past three years, developed a modular graphics system which is probably the world's most comprehensive. The modules available art:

  1. GINO and VINO, basic input and output routines 2. THINGS, a means of easily generating definitions of threedimensional solids 3. HIDDEN LINES, an inexpensive means of producing a twodimensional representation of solids 4. GREYSCALES, a method of representing solid objects in the form of half-tone pictures.

These and other associated modules have been implemented on several computers and are arranged to handle a wide variety of input/output devices ranging from plotters to satellite computers.
